my story

Hi, I'm Haley.

Growing up, my dad always had a film camera in his hand, and I have stacks and stacks of printed photos from my childhood to show for it. Those treasures taught me how powerful - and sacred - it is to have your life documented. So when I found myself surrounded by the beauty of Northeast Oregon, I picked up a camera to capture it… and quickly realized the landscapes were just the backdrop.

I started photographing people in the fall of 2023 and haven’t looked back. My style is cinematic and sun-soaked, with rich color, wide-open landscapes, and genuine emotion. Think windswept hair, golden light, laughter, running on the beach - that soundtrack-to-a-90s-rom-com kind of feeling.

Being able to create in this way is something I don't take for granted. I've spent years searching for an outlet that made me feel truly alive - it turns out it was behind a camera. I feel so grateful for photography: for meeting new people, going new places, and documenting moments you can hold onto forever.
